Silver (990s) circular pendant (approx 2.3cm diameter, 3cm length), with decorated dragon and phoenix bird engraved. The Pendant promotes loving relationships: Dragon symbolises the man, Phoenix the woman. Also attributed to family and health.
Handmade by a skilled crafstmen. Silver is believed to be a health detector: when wearing it as jewellery, if it is brilliant and shiny then reflects health, but if it turns dark, then is believed to detect toxicity.
